Food was excellent! Well executed. After being in Switzerland for 2 weeks, we were looking for a different cuisine that was not Swiss/Italian/French. So we decided to try restaurant Madrid. So happy that we did. My husband was craving paella, and me being allergic to fish, I knew I would have to order something different. To my surprise, the staff offered to make me a vegetarian paella, so I could share the experience with my husband. What an awesome idea and well executed dish. I loved it! More than I thought I would. My husband's dish was so fresh, he loved it as well! Portion sizes are huge! 2 servings per person, so 4 total. Ambiance and service excellent. A solid choice in Zurich.

A nice Spanish restaurant with classics like paella and ham complemented by a number of more neutral dishes like steak or schnitzel. The food and service were fine but I thought the cost too steep for the value proposition.

Amazing food! We ordered 2 tapas (prawn and mushrooms) and a main dish with 2 more sides (grilled veggies and spinach). Loved every bite, everything tasted fresh and made with love. The service was great too and definitely recommend!

Did dinner here and had the veal with lemon sauce. The food was ok, but it didn't "wow" me. The sauce was creamier than I prefer and didn't seem to have much lemon in it. My waiter was great and the wine he suggested was a great match for the meal. Espresso at the end of the meal was very good. Restaurant was just a block off the main path, so it was rather quiet and relaxing while I ate outside. Would go back, but would try a different meal.

Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The food itself was excellent and didn't take long to come out. The prices were a bit high to make this a "routine place to go" but for those one off's for sure worth going to. Had the paella and it tasted great!

I had an incredible experience at Madrid! I ordered the steak with roasted vegetables, saffron Spanish rice, risotto, and a buttery, crispy, super juicy whole chicken. Everything was absolutely amazing. The flavors were authentic and perfectly balanced, just like being in Spain. The staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive, and fluent in both English and Spanish, which made communication easy and enjoyable. The service matched the quality of the food, making the entire meal a real pleasure. If you’re in the area, Madrid is an absolute must-visit. Authentic food, great atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommend!
